4.1 Selection of an Appropriate Mold
When considering the use of stack molds, especially for fast cycling products, special measures must be planned to remove the huge amounts of products. Depending on the shape of the product, these measures could be any of a number of controlled ejection methods, conveyors, stackers, packing machines etc. Figure 4.70 shows a typical cup stacker.
